First Coordination Meeting – Roaming project

From 27-29 October 2016, NGO Young Roma has organized the First Coordination Meeting, as a part of Erasmus+ project “Roaming – Capacity Building of Roma Organization’s on EU Funding and Partnership Building”.

Meeting was held in Hotel Majestic in Belgrade, with participation of partners from: NGO Young Roma from Montenego, Out of the Box International from Belgium, Association of Citizens ROMAVERSITAS from FYRM, Advancing Together from Kosovo, Mladi Romi from Bosnia&Herzegovina, Asocijacija Koordinatora za romska pitanja from Serbia and Disutni Albania from Albania.

During the meeting, participants were introduced with the Erasmus+ Programme, “Roaming” aims, objectives, activities and timeline, as well as reporting procedures, financial management, administration and communication.

All partners have expressed willingness to work together towards achieving the same goals and have agreed on the roles and responsibilities. Additionally, partners have agreed on the steps they need to take for further successful implementation of the “Roaming” project.

At the end of the meeting partners discussed possible follow up activities and sustainability. Many interesting ideas and future partnerships have already been considered, making the meeting a great kick off for the start of the implementation of the “Roaming” project.
